Good Luck Fellow Gamers - as bad as this news is, I hope it may help some of you out - after the fact, naturally Thank you for this insightful post. take away from this experience though is either do NOT buy MMOs from Steam or plan to potentially be limited purely to Steam for useage of game to never own another physical Collector's Edition so long as Steam controls your game. Ultimately it is my fault for wanting STUFF though. I accepted the odd incompatibility of the CD Keys, but SE has helped to make this a horrible experience. So I shall be out $200 when it's all said and done because I made the mistake of supporting Steam. Unless Steam will refund you, you will not get any money back of any kind. (Although in my case SE did try to make me feel better by taking my name and contact info in case they could (magically) help after telling me for 10 minutes that their hands were tied and that this was my problem and that they were sorry they couldn't do anything.) You are not alone in your problem.but you are ALONE for the solution.
